GAYS AND LESBIANS,HELL LET LOOSE!

Among the normal attacks on normal marriage institutions, homosexuality is about the most threatening. The fact that this abnormal sexual behaviour seeks to route mankind makes it a topic of utmost concern in the global scene. Homosexuality is the sexual relationship between people of the same sex. It is manifested in gays and lesbians. We know that gays are men who have sexual attraction for their fellow men while lesbians are women that have sexual attraction for their fellow women. But having this knowledge alone is not where the problems lies.
Before now, the issue of homosexuality used to be majorly the problem of the unbelieving world. But today, it is right inside the church of holy children of the most holy God. Apart from that, countries of the world are legalizing same sex marriage. In june-july 2003 for instance, Ontario and British Columbia in Canada legalized same sex marriage. Also on 22 October, 2009 Aljazeera news of the world announces thus:the synod of Sweeden’s largest church votes overwhelmingly for the conduct of same sex marriage on November same year. Also on April,2010. Skynews had it that the arch bishop of wales announced the resignation of the bishop of brugges Vangheluwa after admitting to have sexually abused boy.
Ancient Egypt and infact many other African tribes gave recognition to this same sex monster. In Britain, America and elsewhere in the developed world, the debate is raging and the most annoying part of it is that even churches are gradually yielding to this tsunami raking our generation.
Hey! Let the church hear the world of the almighty God: "the penalty for homosexual act is death for both parties. They have brought it upon themselves [Leveticus 20 :13]."
The church must know that both gays and lesbians are desperate, shameless and have sponsors. They are rich and are every where. So the church must protect it’s members. Parents should know that it is no longer trying to stop the opposite sex, people of same sex with your child is even more dangerous nowadays.
So let the campaign of sensitizing children in nursery, primary and secondary school or receive accelerated boost. Let preachers of the gospel of the kingdom, prayer warriors, Christian counselors and parents join forces together. May the governments deem it fit to continue to resist this direct work of anti-Christ, or how else do we describe something that tries to wipe mankind from the face of earth?
Christians all over the world should know that if this war is lost, an integral aspect of the Christian faith could be lost with it. GOD FORBID!!!

SOCCER ADDICT: THE CHRISTIAN VIEW

Football which is also called soccer is arguably the biggest industry in the globe today. From Brazil to England and from Cameroon to Nigeria, the beautiful leather game is well received. People love to play it. To watch it played weather it is local league matches, International friends or FIFA tournament, the story is nearly the same: people love soccer. Some love it so much that they can give their lives for it. It is amazing how people how people pour overdose of emotions into football. They choose club sides and give them all the supports the could offer. Sometimes they do it blindly. And such attitude is not just for one set of people only. It cuts across the rich, the poor, male, female, old, and young, Christians, Muslims and even traditional worshipers. These people who have their reason for picking and supporting their teams do extra things to show their support for their club. Some of them are rational, others irrational and somewhat fanatic. The irony of it is that those who watch soccer, especially these days seem more concerned than those who actually play it. These supporters who are popularly called FANS sometime overstretch their enthusiasm and defy sound logic in their behaviors and activities concerning clubs and soccer.
The concern however is on Christian soccer FANS especially the die hard (we have than among Christian too!). These set of people allow match to shape other programmes for them. They read their books, go to church activities and work only when there is no match to watch. And when they are not watching matches, they spend their time discussing both the past and future matches.
Some soccer addicts spend both their time money on soccer at the expense of other more responsibilities like their families. Another dangerous aspect of soccer is that people who are addicted to it stake their money on match out comes in form of gambling. They shout, argue and fight. Yes, they fight and even kill and wound themselves all in the name of supporting their varied club sides.
What will ever make a man to die for his club? As on the day Manchester United qualified for the UEFA Champions league final by beating Arsenal 3-1, a Kenyan Arsenal fan in football – madness hanged himself, wearing his beloved team’s jersey. Suleiman Omondi,29 was found hanged at home in a middle –class Nairobi estate shortly after leaving the bar where he had watched Arsenal lose 3-1 in their Champions league Semi-final at the Emirates on Tuesday 5th of May 2009. The bar man said: He took drinks and broke down in tears within the final minutes of the match’’. What will make a man feel that nothing matters again in life because his club lost a match? I call it the victim of idolatry is that club not his idol, his god?
It is a know fact that soccer is some people’s profession, yet it does appear that soccer has been made a god, and those addicted to it its worshippers. May Christian be careful to draw line between supports entertainment and idolatry. Let Christian engage themselves to other things more meaningful than just waste their time on vain debate.
